Hold steady before moving

Some Pilates exercises require multiple or complex movements of different body parts. It is critical to follow your instructor’s cues / guide to ensure that you do not injure yourself during the process, but also importantly, ensuring that you get the most out of the exercise.

Most, if not all Pilates exercise require us to be steady at the starting position before exercise movements are introduced. This allows our body to be well-positioned for the targeted muscles for the said exercise to be properly engaged and worked.
